I hate to ask this but what makes your period like a black color

It is black when the blood flow is very light and there is very little flow. It is just old and starts breaking down before it comes out.

The very dark blood is old blood that started building up in the week before your period. In the next day or so you will notice it become its true red color. My dr explained that to me. If you are having a period every 2 weeks, you may want to talk to your dr about going on the pill to get you regulated.

sever blood clots, where you on any birth control like the depo shot?, once it wares of it make your period much darker.

hon, you should go to a gynocologist. you could have an infection of some sort.
