I am giving you two examples. I still can't figure it out!
First - my mother, my sister and myself have all had the same dream (not sure but unlikely at the same time) - the exact same dream, right down to the flavor of soup in the can on the shelf under the window in the dream.
Second - I have had dreams of things happening hundreds of miles away to people I do not know. example: dreamt of tornados and the next day found a picture (of where I was in my dream) on CNN.com

I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that they're linked. But, you have to ask just how similar are the dreams, and what are they about? If they're about places or things you have in common with this person, or if it's mostly the same but there are still significant differences, it's easier to explain by coincidence. Work on trying to control the dream, or at least realizing you are dreaming, and when you are in a dream with this person, tell them something that you haven't told them before, then ask them about it next time you see them.

Interpret Your Dreams on this site all the meanings without having to look them up never mind the...Title...of the web-site. http://www.freakydreams.com/ because Good Dreams also can be Interpreted.
Dreaming is a place of possibility and creation, a land of futures that might come and pasts that never were. It is also a land of nightmares.
It constantly changes as people fall asleep and shape parts of it, then wake up and their dreams dissolve back into mist. A dreams dictionary always helps ( for other descriptions needed ). http://myjellybean.com/dream/pagey.html
Did you know you can make yourself dream anything its called...Lucid Dreaming which this site will explains along with some other questions about dreaming. http://www.dreams.ca/

Well it depends... say for instance if you and the person that you know have just finished seeing a scary movie, sometimes you and that person will dream about something pertaining to violence from what you both saw....now that's on a natural or carnal level.
Sometimes it could be something spiritual as well, I don't want to sound crazy or anything, but the Bible speaks a little about dreams and their interpretations...like Joseph.
But not all the time is it coincidence, it could be a warning or something, which reminds me of how a family friend dreamed that his daughter died, so being greatly startled by the dream, he woke up and his daughter had died beside him in her sleep (true story!) the coronor didn't know what she died of, and said she probably died from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
Anyway, you see my point.

I know there is a lot we do not know. I believe there is a connection between us. I belive in a collective unconscious and that sometimes we tap into that. I belive we are being watched by dead people, smart and dumb.
I have had several dreams come true. Other times a dream is close to the reality, but not quite. I believe dreams can be our opportunity to change our future. A glimpse into someting that, as of now, will be.
Try letting your deam be real. Try living in your dream in your sleep. Try changing your dream in your sleep. Tell the world what happens when you really try those things.

I totally agree that their is a connection between people at this level. I had a dream about my friend and his wife being in a car accident, but I knew it wasn't a car accident because the dream involved a car they no longer owned, I couldn't get a hold of them for a week, when I did, I talked to his wife who told me they had split up the day after my dream.

There are various facets for dreams.People alse give their versions as to foretell or give a mening to it.That is all humbuck.
Based on a persons thought a linked dream comes. No need at all to compare similar or exactly same dream coming to some one else.but there is no relevance .you thought and you get ./some times unknown to you atanm early morning good dreams come .if it is a godgiven or about divine matter same thing comes once in a way .that may be true.

Dreams are your subconcious processing information, usually whatever you took in throughout the day. Anything's possible, but I'm going to call coincidence on that one.

Spunk113 is right but only partially. Dreams are also a power that all of us possess but cannot control it's content or frequency; they tell us what is to come. There are only a few people living that can interpret dreams. It may sound nutty but I believe this is something given to us by God, similar to intuition but more complex.

Anything's possible, we don't have a perfect understanding of dreams yet, or of the human mind. Probably coincidence, unless it starts happening frequently.
