I have friends that complain about hair on thier stomach line. Is it ok to wax it off and will waxing make it just grow back even more.

Waxing will typically cause the hair to grow back finer and lighter in color, and it will grow slowly. I have waxed body hair, and while it's not really an option for me in the leg and armpit areas, everywhere else I choose to remove hair, it's a lot easier than shaving, as long as I exfoliate so I don't get ingrown hairs.

Waxing won't make hair grow back more--if anything, it will help it grow back less. The hair will need to be fairly long for waxing to be very effective. I've tried waxing, and it's hard to do and hurts like heck. I have hair on my stomach line, and I usually shave it or use Nair-types of products on it. Hurts much less, works better. Nair will make it grow back thinner if you use it regularly.

I would not wax it..but I know girls that shave it...you can go to a salon and ask...but waxing grows back with less hair usually

Waxing won't make it worse - over time it will grow back thinner and eventually go away (but this is after quite some time with repetitive waxing) Good luck!

I could never get the wax to grip my hairs (even the fine ones) and gave up on it because it was so mess. I used nair on my stomach instead

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! Is your belly hair THAT noticeable that you would be willing to rip off a some skin cells to be rid of it? I'm sure it's okay to wax it off and I don't see any reason why it would grow back differently than any other place.

waxing stomache lines are better than shaving it. shaving grows alot faster and plucking it is just too painful

i have waxed my legs, underarms, stomach, and eyebrows and it does help, it grows back, but not as thick, the more you do it the better because it grows back very thin and you see it and feel it less.

i have a friend who waxes it a lot and idont think it comes back unless she waxes more than i think
