I agree. I think it has a lot to do with not accepting responsibility for one's lot in life. They seem to think it's easier and more noble to be a victim.

It is an oxymoron to enjoy misery, Miserable people do not know how to enjoy anything. Misery is a spiritual binding and once you stop wallowing and sitting in it, you will find peace and happiness which is much more fun anyway. Besides nobody likes a sorry miserable person they tend to be avoided and lose friends quickly.

No. They are not happy to be miserable. They want to be miserable. This might seem stupid, but think about it. If your always miserable then you'll never suffer that awful comedown. Trouble is, in the meantime they give everyone the shits.

Yes, some people are happy to be miserably in love. Just like me!
Believe me, there is pleasure in heart break and pain. Oh the heart burn and ache, its mind blowing. Tears all night..if only I had her in my life.
Why oh why did I love someone so madly, truly, deeply? Am sure there is no answer my question. Darn life and its sickening choices.

Yes, sometimes there is a chemical imbalance in the brain that causes people to feel more comfortable being miserable or sad.

Oh yes, I think it goes along with loving personal drama far too much and then forgetting where the drama stops and reality starts, before long it is all one. I know two people like that and wow, are they high maintenance pains in the butts.

it is true that some cannot be truly happy unless they are miserable. Just as some cannot function without chaos surrounding them. They will create misery or chaos because it is more comforting to them.
Weird. huh?

Yeah. It is true. Some people just feel like they give up and that they don`t want to do or deal with their situation anymore. That`s how I felt. But I`m pretty sure that I`m okay now. =)

Yes, I believe so. Some people just thrive on misery and gloom. It is an aura that surrounds them and if you get too close it sometimes can suck you in.
