NYJETS, tell me if this steamed crow you're about to eat, delicious.
"I am a former kleagle of the Ku Klux Klan in Raleigh County and the adjoining counties of the state .... The Klan is needed today as never before and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia .... It is necessary that the order be promoted immediately and in every state of the Union. Will you please inform me as to the possibilities of rebuilding the Klan in the Realm of W. Va .... I hope that you will find it convenient to answer my letter in regards to future possibilities." — Robert Byrd in letter to Klan Imperial Wizard Samuel Green of Atlanta, April 8, 1946.

Is Bird still Alive?
When you drive through WV and see all the public works, it is obvious that Byrd was busy. Either he blackmailed senators for having gay sex with pages or he was the best politician in office.
West Virginia would be a good place to open a carbon fiber component shop.

people can change for the better. Storm Thurmond, Lyndon Johnson were segregationist. Gov Wallace of Alabama became a supporter of ***** rights where before he was a fiery segregationist. The current pope belonged to a Nazi youth movement when he was a boy but now is certainly a man of god. Gorbachov ended communism in the soviet union. Zironovsky admitted his Jewish roots and even went to Israel to pray at the grave of his father and met his half brother. John Kerry on the other hand never changed for the better. thank god he was never elected president.

Byrd admits that he was in the KKK. He says he quit in 1943 but he never said that he wasn't KKK. Of course it is okay to overlook it in his case because he is a liberal.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't all KKK members ultra-conservatives, yeah, then shut up.
And Robert Byrd was not in the KKK so STFU.
