I am not sure anyting can be done, but you may want to call a vet to see if there is anything to help. I hate to hear about animals suffering. I hope he gets well.

Look.. i once had a bird and i freed it and a dog that was accidentaly killed by a BLOODY CAR AND IT"S DRIVER !
sorry for my harsh words but the thing is your turtle ( it may even be a tortoise ) had come across an internal injury and going to the vet might mean an operation and you know the vets these days so you turtle's chance of surviving is only 40% out of the total 100%. I give my smphathy to your poor misfortunate turtle.

It sounds like there is an internal injury. It really should be seen by a vet. The turtle's life could be at risk, and if it is an internal injury, there is little you can do.
And hurry. Turtles don't have that much blood to start, and infections will make things much worse.

OMG I dont know. Call the vet? Call the pet store?
The veternarian here will do house calls after hours if it is an emergency and that sounds like one!
I say call the pet store because in some stores the employees have to be trained to deal with animals. Like "petland" they have fish experts, reptile experts etc...
I hope your turtle is ok. That sounds harsh. Poor thing.
Was the a/c guy cool about it apologise and everything or was he an jerk off about it? cause if he was a jerk off I would complain to his boss and try to sue for emotional damages. It sounds petty... but animals are peoples kids no matter what they are and it is traumatising to lose one.

He probably has severe lung contusions. Turtles have a very slow metabolism to start with so it's often hard to tell when they're in distress. See a veterinarian who knows reptiles. Even if the turtle can still breathe OK he's at high risk of a respiratory infection.
