This can be broken down into several sub-parts:

Football: USA (c'mon, American second-stringers play in the CFL)
Hockey: Canada (D'uh!)
Roadways: USA (you can drive from sea to sea without a signal stop on Interstates)
Money: Canada (have been using colour on notes for some time now, plus they know how to use a dollar coin)
Taxes: USA (at least no stupid GST)
Politics: Canada (at least the political parties mean something)
Weather: USA (less than eleven months of winter, except for Alaska)
Air and water: Canada (except where there's acid rain coming from the US)
Ideals of freedom: USA (they fight bloody wars for it)
Practice of freedom: Canada (three words: USA Patriot Act)

Even though I live in the USA, I'm going with Canada as they know how to use the metric system and get along with their neighbours that speak a whole different language. Except in international soccer, where I root for Team USA.

Is there a question here? What about Canada or the USA? If you mean which is better, than pretty unfair advantage, considering the population of the USA is way larger than that of Canada's - what a shocker to see Usa answers here..

That is very tough these days....I live in Western New York and my house is about 8 miles from Canada...American politics has caused me to conclude that politicians do not care about me, so Canada seems better...but on the other hand I am in a financial place and geographic place where my needs are more than met and the services are all available, better than Canada...so it is a draw.
