Human sexuality is far more complicated than the three boxes created by humans (gay, bi, straight), as sexuality consists of many different components e.g. sexual & romantic attraction.
Kinsey tried to research human sexuality, and created the Kinsey scale with 7 different categories along a "continuum" ranging from exclusively heterosexual to exclusively homosexual. Even with 7 different categories, there is still a large percentage of people who don't fit comfortably into any one of them.
It was also found that 38% of males experienced an attraction to a member of the same sex at some point during their life. It was also found by others that sexuality can be fluidic, which makes an extreme mockery of the traditionalist approach of sexuality being fixed and people being gay or straight.
You are correct in saying that some males will have fantasies about other males, but may not act out on them. A lot of them may be bicurious, and the fantasies may die out if they acted on them. This doesn't make them bisexual or homosexual. In the same way that a spiritually curious person who makes only one visit to a religious establishment doesn't automatically make them part of that religion.
There are probably a lot of bisexual males, but homophobia from mainstream society and biphobia from the gay community makes it difficult for people to identify as bisexual. Some bisexuals will identify as gay or straight in order to gain acceptance from the community they are in.

If you're only relating to fantasy, then what's the point in giving it a sexual orientation? I've got a whole raft of fantasies that I can enjoy as that but would be repulsed if the opportunity actually arose.
While there may be some small element of truth (with regards to sexual orientation being "contained" by social mores) in your question, other people here have already rubbished your premise that all men are Bi.
Unfortunately there are too few of us...

Lot's of theory that the majority of the population is born bi, and that it's socialization (bigotry, Bible, etc) that makes most shut down same sex tendancies.
If you think about it, why would homosexuality be such a big deal if it was clear cut. For that matter, why such a big fear instilling preaching in the Bible if it only affected a small percentage of the population?
The theory also would partially explain why so many think orientation is a life style choice. Easy to do if you're on the hetero side of the continuum, harder to do in the middle, more difficult on the homo side, impossible if you at the far gay/lesbian end.

Very good question... I think majority of people male and female experience sexual curiosity RE: same sex people at some point in their life..... I don't think "every" guy is born bi sexual or of any other sexual identity . But it is a part of the developmental process for straight folks just as it is for homosexual and bisexual folks... the difference is when they have the experiences it doesn't affect them in the way it does us...therefore they lack the desire and or need to continue with it...
I understand your line of thinking... its an interesting theory

No, everyone has these fantasies, even if they deny it.
Everyone isn't bisexual because they had one fantasy about a guy.
You are only dealing with fantasy, and that has only a part of genuine sexuality. Sexual fantasies are more about the acts involved. Whereas full attraction, and devotion to a gender determines your sexuality.
So unless they would date, or spend their life with the same sex, the questioning of their sexuality is needless.
Have a nice day,
Russ

I am not sure that all men have 'fantasies' about other men, and many that are curious about other men rarely act upon it.
Heterosexuality and homosexuality are just the two extremes or sexuality, and we as a society tend to focus on them, we put labels on people and say "you either have to be one or the other". But I think that everyone is somewhere in the middle to one extent or another. How they act on those impulses is another thing all together.

Many more men are curious than will openly admit it, but far fewer actually act in any way on that curiosity. Most of us find the idea repulsive, even absent social pressure. One's sexual orientation is indeed "built in" - a person is born straight, gay or bi, not made, nor does a person wake up one morning and say "I guess I'll be gay for the rest of my life." Think about it: did you get up this morning and say "I guess I'll be straight"?

I think because society is finally accepting the fact that men and men or women and women will be together no matter what. That now male as females (straight) wonder what it would be like to be with the same sex. Does not mean all of us will act on it, but everyone i think once in their life will think about the unknown.

Most of human sexuality is psychological. Alot of people have some degree of bi-tendencies, even if unconcious. However, many truly straight men have some fantasies about penises, but not men. We associate our own penises with sexual pleasure, and therefor sometimes find penises in general arousing, although not what's attached to them. That's where you get the she-male fantasy from. A gentalia we understand and associate strongly with sex and pleasure, attached to the gender we are attracted to.
Does that make sense?

Mate if you live in dream land then you only answer is yes. But here on planet earth where reality is a fact then the answer is soundly NO.
The fact that you feel sexually drawn to other men is because thats how you feel and so be it. However, don't assume we are all like it.
The only exception could well be Thai lady boys or transsexuals who look more feminine than their female counterparts.
