Why not just stock them somehwere like the post office or library so when you need one you pop in and grab some. Abstinence might work for a rare few but the vast majority out there can not refuse the quif when its offered.

The government would just get sued because people would claim they used the condom and had a baby, when they really didn't use anything. Education on safe sex and abstinence is the key.

No sex is 'safe'. With STDs on the rise, I don't think that sex needs to be encouraged. [ Although teen pregnancy is down, so I believe that condoms are working. ] I honestly think that we need to show kids more HPV images and scare the crap out of them so that they think twice when they pull their pants off.

However, I believe that handing out condoms may benefit adults in low income and low education brackets. Unfortunately, the best course of action is to have sex in a secure, committed relationship, or to not do it at all.

no education is the key. if the federal government wants to help they need to but out.they have done such a great job with all the other problems this country.that is why taxes are high and our country has a three TRILLION in debt. if children need condoms they need to go to the health department if they want them for free

While I approve of local governments getting involved and providing resources like this, it's not an issue that the federal goverment should be anywhere near.

Well another option would be to encourage parents to do their part and teach their children high morals. My parents did and I do now as a parent. I never had any need for condoms, neither did my sons. They were morally clean until they got married.

No. It is not any governments responsibility to make sure you, me, or anyone has safe sex. It is each persons responsibility.
Less government is better government.

We already pay for all of the Medicaid/Welfare babies out there. Did you know that the dumbasses with 40 kids can get free birth control and free condoms with OUR money?
