ok is hp batteries for lap tops affected by the recall and is an apple ipod shuffle affected please help im not good with these things!

are you talking about the DELL laptop batt. recall?...Note , it's a DELL recall , Apple , and HP haven't announced a recall , to my knowlage.

The problem has only been reported for Dell laptops. The batterties were manufactured by Sony, so you should be safe.
