...you....

If it were established that the majority of people involved with terrorist activity were white, wore a pink carnation in their ear and red scarf around their neck, then wouldn't it make sense to pay them particular attention? Sure it's discriminatory...but it's a reasonable and logical discrimination. Innocent people getting tagged for other's misdeeds is nothing new. But it's often necessary.

i think it is terrible and people should be put in jail for it. nobody went bad mouthing whites when homeboy blew up that building in oklahoma or did we all forget about that? or what about collinbin? nobody did anything or said any thing about whites. but now because the person that blew up the world trade center in ny just so happens to be muslim, lets commit every hate crime possible against muslims. lets disciminate against them because they have happen to believe in the same God as the ones to did those attacks. for the record, being muslim in not a race. it is a religious title like christian, bapist, buddhists, jehovah witness. most of the middle eastern countries practice the religion of islam, but there are people who practice throughout the world, seeing as it is the world's second largest religion behind christianity with 1.3 billion followers. and for those that are not familiar in anyway or form with the islamic religion, it doesn't not condon the violent acts of the men who have blown things up and committed terrists acts in the name of Allah. they are going straight to hell just the same as if a christian had done these acts and said in the name of Jesus Christ. so for those that profile racial when it comes to terrorism, remember these people are their own individuals, they have nothing to do with those acts, and most likely never will. but if you keep treating them the way you are now, don't be surprised if they come at you screaming in the name of Allah

p.s.: so what do we call it when america assassinates another leader of a country or blows up a building filled with innocent people? standard procedure? i think not! re-evaluate yourselfs!

If they give you a reason to suspect them, you check them out. We can't afford another 9/11. If we hurt some people's feelings, too damn bad.

The way I look at it, if you have nothing to worry about, you won't mind a little extra security when it comes to using air, train, bus, or boat travel to get around. We all want to get to our destination in one piece.

As for foreigners in our country squawking about racial profiling...if you don't like it, get the hell out of the US. It isn't our fault people of your ethnic background find it necessary to fly passenger airliners into our skyscrapers and government buildings.

I believe it discriminates against the majority of innocent people of that race (usually Middle Eastern) and helps disenfranchise the discontents that exist in that group (as in any group), and may eventually push them some over the edge. i.e. create even more hatred towards the West.

Okay first off , terrorism is not about racial profiling it is about targeting poor innocent people and they dont care they have no soul not remorse no love in they system so there is no racial profiling there and secondly not to be mean or anything but you forgot the word you!!

If that's what it takes....I mean I hate it for the people that are innocent that it would affect but If they could catch the person(s) that would blow up thousands, hundreds or even just a few people it's totally worth it.

For safety purposes, it can't be helped not do racial profiling. But our government should not forget the old saying; the wolf hiding in sheeps clothing.

It is wrong. But unless they can find another way around it to protect this country, it will have to be done.

It's just a fancy word for discrimination.

I think if we were to classify all white people as potential terrorists, we could solve many of our world's environmental and social problems.
