Yankees do have enough powerhitting but they have too little pitching and Arod's defense could end up costing them an important game or two.

If your talking about power in offense, yes and it will be even better when they get matsui and sheff back. Then think about how stacked their bench will be with the players who had all the playing time while they were out, Scary thought for the other teams

Heck yes. Even without Matsui and Sheff they can win the East. As soon as Matsui and Sheff do come back, everyone can literally say "We have no chance".

nope bad pitching they have 1 maybe 2 good starters and Rivera isn't the closer he was pitching wins games in the post season not batting
