cellulite! I weigh all of 110 pounds, on a good day! And was shocked to see I had little dimples or whatever on my upper thighs and butt. I asked some girlfriends if they knew what it was and they laughed and told me it was just cellulite. How can somebody so skinny get it? And how do I get rid of it, before I get more? It makes me feel creepy! Yuk! Do I spend too much time sitting at a desk all day, or what? Am I eating something wrong? I don't do junk food really. And thanks for any info!

AMY - I keep trying to email you but I keep getting Oops, there's a problem, or this person email address has not been confirmed. I don't understand. You need to get her to a doctor that is foreign, and by that I mean who can speak another language or has studied abroad. And preferably a female.

ok, im sorry to say, but i think im skinnier than you because i weigh less and i have that too in the same spots. im in cross country and i think its supposed to tone your legs, but it hasnt gone away on me, so no i dont think u have been sitting at a desk all day too much. and i hardly eat junk food too, so it beats me why i have it. wat im trying and suggest is work out your upper thigh and butt.

a really easy way to do, even while you watch tv or read a magazine is to lay on your stomach and lift one of your legs high into the air, and keep it like that for a while. then trade.

try doing this often, and let me no if it works.

If your mom is still around, check her thighs...you'll probably see your answer before you, unfortunately. It's usually genetic, and it really doesn't matter if you're thin or fat. I'm chunky and I've got it...didn't until in my late 30's. My sis is skinny, and sh'es got it.

It's awful, I know, but YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR DIMPLES! I'd suggest a lot of walking...I just about eliminated mine for awhile this way, along with drinking tons of water.

Also, a great cover-up is a tan. I used to use tanning beds all the time and you couldn't see it at all. This was during the time I was walking, too. However, we all know that tanning beds are just going to trash your skin further...you may not see it now, but you will later!

So, I'd recommend a GOOD artificial tanner. It doesn't have to be expensive to be goood. I've used Banana Boat Dark Tanning lotion with GREAT results. You can get it at Walmart for about 7 bucks or so. Here's the trick though. Get a pair of rubber or latex gloves, and put them on FIRST. Then, rub, rub and rub some more until you get that lotion into every nook and cranny. It will keep it from looking streaky. Use "sparingly" on rough spots such as elbows and toes/knuckles. I'd put a little on, then wipe it right off with a washcloth or tissue.

Good luck hon! You're such a GREAT answerer on here, so I hope my answer helps you!

Hon, I am 90 pounds and I have "cellulite". Not alot, but I have it. Just because you are skinny, doesnt mean that you dont have fat. Cellulite is basically bad fat that forms together & creates a "dimpled" look usually in your thighs/butt.

Websters defintion:
deposits of subcutaneous fat within fibrous connective tissue (as in the thighs, hips, and buttocks) that give puckering and dimpling appearance to the skin surface

Dictionary.com's defintion:
A fatty deposit causing a dimpled or uneven appearance, as around the thighs and buttocks

You should get out there and exersice more. (I should really take my own advice...)

You just got to exercise and rub some expensive anti-cellulite lotion on it to firm up the area. At least that's what I do. (=

it doesn't matter how skinny you are if you have just a little bit of fat on you, you can get cellulite. it just has to do with the fat tissue under the skin, just use a good moisturizer daily and it will minimize it.
