You should work at forever 21 or the marriott, because you can keep it for a long time, and you can do your job well without get frustrated, and the pay is pretty good. Try not to work at jamba juice, no matter how good the smooties are.... it's a messy, messy, and very fast-paced job, it's too much to handle, same with McDonalds and Cold Stone. I hope this helps...............................

I recommend against McDonald's, movie theaters, and barnes and noble. When you work at McDonald's you always walk out smelling of grease. You have no idea how gross it is to clean a movie theater after the shows. Book stores just aren't as great to work at as they seem in the movies. I enjoyed working in retail clothing, but you don't make all that much money and sometimes if you like the store it goes right back in.

I love working in the hotel business, but quite frankly you won't be able to do much of anything until you turn 18. My hotel makes sure that you are 16 before even letting you be a pool attendant.

My top picks from your list would be Orange Julius or Build-A-Bear. Orange Julius tends to be a small environment, often in malls so your hours and transportation is usually pretty easy. Build-a-Bear seems like fun place, but I could see it being a madhouse especially around the holidays or with children's birthday parties. You might also find that it depends on what stores are hiring in your area. I remember that I didn't want to work in food for my first job, and while I was looking, I couldn't find other options. So you take what's available, work a few months to build a good record, then get a reference for the next place you go.

I would vote for Barnes and Noble as it is clean and many times has a Starbucks inside, but I guess I would say that's my personality, so for you, YOU decide where would actually be FUN for you to work, the list is so diverse. Last year my 15 year old daughter would have loved Hollister, but a year, darker hair and eyes, now Hot Topic is cool and Hollister out... Whatever, don't stay there forever- go to college, PLEASE!

all and sundry at my college wears it, alongside with me basically because of the fact that is what's in form and their actual the manufacturers worn here. i'm in California, and Hollister is everywhere! Then Abercrombie, then AE, then Aeropostale. yet i like Banana Republic, hollow, Charlotte Russe, etc. yet Buckle is my widespread save!
