JON SNOW of George R. R. Martin's ASOIAF, besides being a bastard, he is a majestic sort of character, and with Ghost (his pet direwolf) by his side, nothing would want to hurt me - only if i were him.... and... and... if i would be like him for a day i would run around our school campus and see if any one will dare to come close to us. harharhar.
JonSnow is also a brave boy of 15(?) i'm not sure about his age, i forgot, but i swear i idolize him and Ghost.

this is a very difficult question coz i love so many characters from the books i've read. But usually I prefer being me incorcporated into the book, alongside the other characters i love.
Right now, i 'd prolly want to be Marguerite, Scarlet Pimpernel's wife. She's beautiful, intelligent, popular, and she has the Scarlet Pimpernel for a husband! Scarlet Pimpernel(dashing, brave, funny, ingenious)is definitely way better than stuck up Mr. Darcy.

Dagny Taggart from Atlas Shrugged or Dominique Francon from The Fountainhead.
They both represent such strong, intelligent, and beautiful women who are not afraid to be different in a horrible society. A great quote is from Atlas Shrugged about Dagny. (i don't have the book infront of me but) It was along the lines of 'she was 14 when she realized girls didn't run the railroad. To hell with that she said and never thought of it again.'

Dorian from The Picture of Dorian Gray
by Oscar Wilde. Why because all of his flaws were absorbed into his self-portrait; preserving him from life's troubles. He didn't have to grow old or ugly, to feel guilt or have consequences for his actions...etc.
I just wouldn't want to be Dorian at the end of the play when he uncovers the painting and sees how hideous it has become.-Then he destroys it with a knife and he disintegrates.
-On second thought I think I wouldn't want to be a character from a book....

I think that I just might already be Philip Carey from OF HUMAN BONDAGE.
As far as choice goes...I would be Nick in the GREAT GATSBY. I would get to live the high life, be judgemental of the blue blood rich, and move on with lessons learned. Who knows...he might even stand to inherit some of the Gatsby fortune...

I would be Lessa, Dragonlady of Pern, created by Anne McCaffrey. I love dragons, wish they were real and I could talk to them through a telepathic link. And ride one anywhere on the planet. I don't care if you think I am crazy. I know it is a dream. You asked.

I would be 'Beauty', from "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty"....an erotic trilogy written by A.N. Roquelaure (Anne Rice). I think I've said enough already without explaining further.

elizabeth bennett because she gets mr. darcy at the end...and that is just the most attractive man in all of literature....plus she's got smarts and can stand on her own. if not elizabeth i'd maybe say scarlet o'hara because she's emotional and tormented, - that's always fun right
