20 weeks? Hon...you have another 17-20 weeks (on average) for her to tumble, toss, turn, flip and flop her way around the womb! :)
She'll turn I'm sure. At 32 weeks mine would be in all sorts of positions. When it gets closer to delivery time, they'll move down how they're supposed to. If not, there's methods you can use to help them turn, and things your Dr. can do as well. You and baby both have LOTS of growing to do still. She'll tumble around while she has the space :)
Best of luck!!!

She'll turn over and around and change positions a hundred times between now and the end.
My son was always in the perfect position the whole time. Up until a month from his due date, of course. Then he decided to settle into a face-up, breech position, and the midwife kept telling me, no, he's head down, but it just didn't feel right to me, but I accepted it because she's the midwife, and he was my first baby.
Then he wouldn't drop and when I was 10 days past my due date, they decided to induce and they did one last ultrasound, and of course, he was in the totally wrong position. He even had his arms and feet up over his head.
They said I could pick between scheduling a cesarean, or having the Dr. try to manually turn him around by pushing on my stomach, but it would only have a 50% chance of working. Also, if I just was induced and tried to have him like he was, there were all sorts of things that could go wrong.
I had a cesarean with him, and that's probably what'll happen to you if your little one decides to be difficult, too. It really wasn't a too bad.
It most likely won't come to that anyway, though. She'll get settled right before too long.
Congrats on the baby, and good luck! Wishing you a speedy and not-too-painful or complicated delivery!

It's perfectly okay for them to be breech at this stage as they are still small and have lots of room to maneover. I was breech with my last son at my 26 week ultrasound. By delivery time he was in position. No need to worry right now. To get the baby to turn you can lie with you feet on a couch and your back on an ironing board. Or put frozen vegetables on the top of your stomach. Helps to make the baby turn. Congrats and good luck!

No worries! Breech at 20 weeks is insignificant. The baby will likely turn and turn again and turn some more! :lol
My baby was breech at 20 wks and I had a normal presentation at delivery.

All 4 of my boys were breech until the very end. Three of them turned on their own about a week before they were born. My youngest needed a little help because he was too big.
Also my friend and sister both went through the same thing and their little ones turned.
Good Luck!

Babies continue to turn all the way up to the end of pregnancy. It is way too early to worry about the baby being turned around. My son that was head down all the way until the day beforeI delivered decided to head East/West during delivery. My daughter that was sideways the whole time, turned at the last minute and was head down. So there ya go. If your doctor is concerned about the position of the baby near the end of your pregnancy, he or she may attempt to turn the baby; but, that baby is going to do whatever it wants to do in the end. Most of the time that is head down. Be thankful for modern ultrasound equipment. They can easily tell in labor and delivery what direction your baby is pointed in at the time. Good luck :)

I see many babys in the breech position at 20 weeks. Here is what I found:
"About 30 percent or so are breech earlier in pregnancy (16 to 20 weeks), but only about 3 percent are breech at birth. Most do turn around at sometime during the pregnancy, but when they turn around is subject to chance, as far as we can tell."
http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregnancy/plabor/0,,46lj,00.html
"Before 34 weeks, don’t worry too much about baby’s position."
http://www.transitiontoparenthood.com/ttp/foreducators/breech.htm
"The breech position is common in early pregnancy. About one third of all babies are breech at 24 weeks, but by the 32nd week most babies are in the head-down position."

The baby is soooo very tiny right now. It will be in a hundred different positions by the time birth comes around.
My daughter was head up until 35 weeks. Even then I wasn't worried.
They is absolutely NO REASON what so ever to be worried. :-) Oh and congrats on the baby.

don't worry this is perfectly normal for the baby to breech at this stage. Lots of times they flip back and forth till closer to time for them to be born and then they get in position to drop down into the birth canal.
