does Yahoo Mail have a confirmation when someone picks up an email that I sent them?

I would like to know if there is a way for me to tell when an email is picked up that I have sent to a person.

No, Not at this time, but if you have the premium ( Paid) Email, then you can set up Outlook Express to send a confirmation when the email is viewed or opened. Good Luck

Unless you are using paid Yahoo no it's not possible. It is possible in Outlook which will require pop3 access, which is available only in Yahoo's paid service.
