It's about....mmm, a 3-5 year old model by the looks of it.

Yup, PCMCIA cards will get you going. They also have them in USB, some even look like flash drives, but those suck. I would get PCMCIA. Yea get linksys, and probably a 802.11g. There are a few different protocols out there but standard right now is 802.11g. 802.11b is kind of out dated, and the new 802.11N are still expensive and if you get your wireless router from your internet provider, most likely they will not support N yet.

Any laptop with a PMCIA slot can do WIFI.
