Haven't you ever heard the phrase "Happiness isn't about having the things you want, but wanting the things you have." You need to decide what's important to you to have, not all the things you could possibly want.

I admit that it would be nice to have certain things like more money or a nicer place to live, but since I have what I need, I wonder what I would do with the extra.

I don't agree that we can do nothing without power. Many people have done much to improve this world by giving of themselves. It may not seem like a lot at the time, but for the people who receive, it may make a difference in their lives.

You can make your life better by making someone else's life better and you may discover that those thing you want now are not all that important.

This is an important question. Not many people would take the time to ask this of themselves. Unfortunately, we live in a world where the media determines what we should want and we fall victim to their message. Take the time to consider your answer for yourself.

If you don't have anything, you have nothing to lose. Sounds weird, but that would be comforting to me. Having nothing means you have flexibility to relocate - something else I can't do.
