To answer your question yes you can change the hard drives out, but remember all your data, including windows fallows the hard drives. Sometimes windows will work doing that and sometimes it doesnt. If it does you will have to have drivers ready for any windows doesnt have.

I agree with the posts to a certain extent. That was true until SATA hard drives came out. My laptop has SATA hard drive and although I like the performance, it's hard buying a nice one off the shelf. Best way to find out is if the cable that connects to the hard drive both look the same, they are compatible.

Possibly, I'm not familiar with those models. Laptops? All laptop disks are interchangeable.
