I am confident he will be. History will prove him to be a man of great integrity and outstanding courage and fortitude.

Chris, yes...
in THEIR day, Lincoln and Reagan were most certainly vilified. History proved them to be great men when the long term ramifications of their administrations were able to be considered. I believe that W will also be appreciated. Maybe not in his lifetime, or even my own, but someday.

The liberals will all be eventually regarded as fools preoccupied with myths of a socialistic utopian fantasy, inane conspiracy theories, and with head-up-*** syndrome.

Bush has been victorious over these defeatists time and time again, and the history books will be no exception (unless they are written by liberals - which will also be a great laugh)

I don't see Reagan as a man that should be vilified. He was senile in office and messed up the economy like Bush did. Some people will say the same about Bush they do Reagan. Especially after he passes on, they'll say, He had integrity, courage, etc., when 9/11 happened. Think about it, any President would have had to step up to the plate for such a tragedy. I would go on about that, but that's a whole another soap box.

History will make him look worse. It will give people like you enough time to figure out how bad of a president he was. Lincoln does not need to be vilified and Reagan is tha main reason for the meth problem in this country, it has to do with the drug company lobbyists he was in bed with back during his time in office, another criminal.

History will prove that he was a liar to the american people that he did nothing for the poor just a puppet for the large corporations and the damage will be seen far in the future, how does it feel to know that they kids born today in large part to the politics of Bush already owe over $100,000 in debt and the world that use to respect us now sees us as overbearing and bullies? So history will see him as the other smart people already do the worst president in history.

come on... I was around when Reagan was in office... and while some may have made fun of him... it's far less than what is going on with Bush... justifiable or not...

Lincoln's battles are often linked with civil rights and slavery...

Bush had a chance but blew it when he decided to go after Saddam instead of Osama... which is EXACTLY what he did...

when a man attacks the nation... you should probably prioritize him over a man that may have WMD... just an idea...

The two former presidents named did not have the sort of venomous, unscrupulous enemies that W has. Or at least not domestic enemies...

As long as the scholarly elitists write text books, W will be vilified eternally, just as the West is vilified in Muslim schoolbooks.

I think Bush will be exposed as a failure. There is a difference between having courage and fortitude and not being able to tell the difference between success and failure. He has made way too many mistakes.

Much to the chagrin of the liberals and all Bush haters, he will be vindicated. He will go down in history as one of our greatest Presidents.
