I'm not much of Yankees fan .. but to tear down Yankee Stadium would be distroying something priceless. More history there than perhaps any other stadium.

I thought they were building the new stadium pretty much right across the street. So, I don't think they are leaving the Bronx.

The thought of WASTONG MONEY on a new stadium will make me cry. And NASA can't get the ****** $500 million dollars that they've been asking for for more than 10 years.
How sad. Sports are overpowering science.

When the Twins beat the Yankees in the playoffs, then you can cry.

It would be a disgrace to tear down the House That Ruth Built and true fans should protest if it happens.

I'll hate to see them not in the old stadium, but I thought they were "just" building the new one in the same neighborhood, no?

I don't think that's true because they are breaking ground on the new stadium tomorrow morning. Play will begin in 2009.
