Yes, you are correct. From day to day we read scary headlines about terrorist threats discovered by Homeland Security, and likely new threats of subversion within the US itself, not to mention WMD...and the majority of the people eat this garbage...after all the President should know...he has secret intelligence that us peons don't....HOGWASH...This new flap about illegals is another scam...How in the world can 11,000,000 people secretly slip into the US? We have our great FBI, Homeland Security and the border patrol...??? If a Juan Pablo Gonzales can walk across the border, what about Mohammed Al-Lizard doing the same thing? Now, if Mexico is the largest supplier of illegal drugs to the US and they arrive by the tons...is is possible that a bomb (or bombs) could arrive the same way and Mexico has no great love affair with the US to protect us. This is shabby bureaucracy and using the fear tactic at airports...I am sure if we look carefully at the situation in England, Tony Blair was coached by Bush in how to do the terrorist threat thing to shape up those casual Englishmen. The government is ruled by business and Bush was in oil, Cheney was with Halliburton, and can you even remember one politician that was poor...well Truman...but that's long ago. Nixon left the White House bankrupt and three days later is a millionaire again...I should be so lucky! Fear and Lies work miracles!

No, he's keeping us in line by using "our need for safety" as ways to restrict our rights. By restricting our rights he's keeping us in line and turning the U.S. very slowly into a facist state.

Would you be afraid if a suicide bomber jumped up on your bus and attempted to detonate, or would your last few fleeting seconds of life be used to curse Bush for not doing enough to prevent terrorism?
