If a Person smokes marijuana for the first time in years for just one night how long is the THC likely to stay in their system?

Typically marijuana stays in the system anywhere for 20-30 days. But that number can change if you exercise, or drink a lot of water. It also depends how much you smoke.

For a one time user, the THC will stay detectable in a urine test for around 14 days. Some say a little more (3 weeks), some say a little less (10 days), but 2 weeks is about the average.
Those numbers go higher (no pun intended) if you're a chronic user (again, no pun) or you're often exposed to the second hand smoke.

some say about a week or two I have heard 30 days...I don't have a clue. I smoked but never had any tests done. I know it took 4 months for my friend but she smoked 24/7.

traces of thc stay in the system for up to 30 days...the actual high will only stay for the regular couple of hours.

i think it depends on how much you smoked. i do it every once in a while and was tested 3 days after i smoked for a job test and the results were clean. if you dont smoke often, it doesnt take much to get off and if you drink plenty of liquids, i dont think it stays with you long.

in a urine test for about 30 days, but in a hair sample for 3-4 months...so offer your pee but no dna sample..lol
