I have NEXTEL , I like mp3 and taking pictures. what phone should I buy? where?

Boost mobile makes a phone that has a camera and mp3 player that you can get unlocked to be used with nextel, I also have nextel and am lookin into these phones, they even sell them unlocked in the smaller phone dealer shops. They range from 100 bux to 280 bux unlocked, some places you may be able to find the phone and pay someone to unlock it. Good luck! I almost forgot, the boost phones are made by motorola just like the nextel phones, but they are much cheaper than buyin a phone from a nextel dealer, and they will work with the radio function also.

I love my i870. You can upgrade through Nextel or try to buy one from someplace like eBay. Your best option for MP3 playback is a Motorola phone for Nextel (commonly called iDen phones). Get one with a removable media option- that way you can store a decent amount of songs on a memory card. If you get the i870 you should look on eBay or someplace and try to find a Micro SD (or Trans Flash) card of at least 512MB. I bought a 1GB card and I have quite a few songs on mine. You can also purchase headphones to jam out with or just listen to it mono through the little factory speaker on the phone (which doesn't sound half bad!)

The picture quality is pretty decent if you set the camera default image quality to "Excellent." I don't use the camera that much, but it works well and it's very easy to upload the photos.

Another big plus about the i870 is GPS Navigation. I never thought that I would use it, but it has become the absolutely greatest feature that I have ever used on a phone. Everyone is always amazed when I whip it out and get directions to wherever we are headed!
