I don't know how 'unusual' you'll think they are, but I love the names Xander, Eian, Corbin, Lucian, and Aiden for a boy, and Cassandra, Tara, Sada, Luciana, and Leia for a girl, and Blaze (Blaise), Dakota, River, Chance, and Kyler for either.

I find a lot of non English names unusual, exotic etc... so for me a number of Slavic names such as for a boy: Tilen (don't know the meaning), Zvonko (ring a bell), Goran (mountain), Milan (darling), Bogdan (God given), and for girls Mirna (peaceful one), Tihana (quiet one), Danica (morning star), Sladjana (sweetness)...
