Since i was a baby, i am a southern. I use to like the montreal canadiens, but then the hartford whalers moved to carolina, my home state. And Montreal was getting old. Its time for new teams to be in the spot light.

Since I was two years old, but I think I was even younger then that. I was two when I went to my first hockey game, The Chicago Blackhawks in March of '95. But I am sure I watched it at home with my parents. I am now almost 14, and I play. I still watch it, but now I can actually get into the game. I love it and my life would not be complete without it.
How long have you been watching it??

I've been watching hockey for as long as I can possibly remeber, though likely even longer than that as my Dad is a fanatic.(So am I) I remember watching the Stanley Cup playoffs of 1994, when my hometown Canucks made it all the way to the Finals and lost in Game 7 to the Rangers... I was 4 1/2 and I cried myself to sleep on the couch in front of the TV watching all the festivities in New York and the riot in Vancouver.

*slides jarm a 'Canadian'*
Same, I am from Canada, have been watching hockey for as long as I can remember. Sometimes even just listening to it on the radio when I could not be near a TV. *hockey night in Canada theme song starts playing* . . . It was a sad day when the Jets moved from Winnipeg.

Been watching it all my life. My favourite hockey team is Montreal Canadiens even though I live in Vancouver. Hockey Rules and it's a Canadian game.
Oh! The good old hockey game,
Is the best game you can name;
And the best game you can name,
Is the good old Hockey game!

I started in 1970 when the Sabres first entered the league and my dad took me to the first game--I was 8. I saw a lot of greats, a lot of games and other than a few years when my mind wandered I've been completely dedicated to the game for 36 years....eeks, sounds like a long time when you think about it.

since 78..I was 7 and saw my 1st Islanders game..Mike Bossy was the best player on the ice, and I think he was the best gola scorer ever..if he was able to have the longevity of Gretsky he would have scored more goals. If you ever get a chance look up his career stats. Still an Isles fan today, despit emany hard years
