I have recently gotten into stamp collecting, but I can't find a good stamp collecting book anywhere and I need one to store all my stamps. Anybody have any idea where I can find one?

There are lots of great albums available at http://www.subwaystamp.com - look for "albums," as that is the kind of book you are looking for.

You should stronly consider joining the American Philatelic Society (APS) - http://www.stamps.org - the magazine is great, and there are a lot of services available to members. Even if you don't join right away, the site is very useful for things like finding dealers and shows in your area. And even if you're not in the US, do consider joining anyway - APS has members in over a hundred countries!

Another great stamp collecting site is http://www.virtualstampclub.com - you have to register to post on the message board, but it's free, and you can read stuff as a "guest" without registering.

Welcome to the hobby of kings/king of hobbies!

Just put "stamp collecting" in the search window and it takes you to many places. I am a novice stamp collector and it's not as easy as it sounds. Anybody can collect stamps but the grading part is frustrating as all get out.

Stamp collecting is lots of fun, but I too have stamp books from the good ole days, product of my father's brilliance.

I take exhilaration in coin gathering. It does not could fee plenty. i can pass to the economic business enterprise and p.c.. of a container of coin (whichever denomination i'm interior the temper for) for precisely face fee. A container of pennies is $25, a container of nickels is $a hundred, a container of dimes is $250 and boxes of 0.5 money or quarters are $500. once I get a container, i can pass via and pull out the greater clever money (there are books to help with this or web content). I keep all exciting money and attempt to fill holes in my coin e book. The money that i do no longer choose/want would be decrease back to the economic business enterprise and positioned as we communicate lower back into my account (in spite of the undeniable fact that it rather is often greater clever to return the money to a diverse economic business enterprise (no longer in basic terms a diverse branch yet a diverse economic business enterprise) so as that i do no longer finally end up finding a similar boxes repeatedly). So maximum of my money is going lower back and that i can then get yet another container. some issues to seek for: wheat pennies, silver dimes, silver quarters, old money, blunders money, etc. there is often the possibility of looking a actual treasure!

Wow, tough one. I have two but that's from the good ole days. I'd say try a hobby store, though they tend to deal more with hobbies like miniatures and such. If all else fails, try eBay:

There's a nice-looking one, for example!

If you trade stamps with others, ask where they obtained theirs.
