I've tried the hot/cold water trick as well as the gripper things that help you open stuck jars. Help!

first run the bottle under scalding hot water for 3-5 min.

then, if you still cannot get the bottle open, soak the whole bottle in nail polish remover for 5 min.

if THAT doesn't do the trick, try plyers as your last resort!

take a cotton ball soaked in nial polish remover or acetone and run that around the rim of the bottle. keep working at it back and forth use the kitchen grippers if it helps.. keep doing that a few times untill it gives.
The remover should help dissolve and loosen the dried polish that is making the lid stick .

Channel-lock pliers -- they are those pliers the place the handles and the "jaws" are tilted at an attitude. And in a pinch... a sparkling bottle of nail polish is only a greenback or 2. existence's too short to screw around with caught previous nail polish bottles.

Put some nail polish remover in a bowl and stick the bottle in it and let it sit for a day or so.

Pour small amounts of finger nail polish around where the lids closes. That will remove any nail polish that had dried and won't allow you to open it.

NAIL POLISH REMOVER on the sides!!!! or, and i know this sounds silly, if that doesn't work put it in the microwave for like 5-10 seconds...but the NP remover should work (with acetone is best.)

give it a break for a couple of minutes and make sure your hands are dry, but a little sticky. maybe put some hairspray on them and let it dry. then, put a rubberband around the cap and try twisting it off.

if that doesn't work, get someone else to try. someone super strong.

tie a rubber band around it. That usually works. If not soak the top in nailpolish remover and then try the rubber band thing. Hope this helps:)
