I agree, do what's best for the baby. Now, that doesn't mean just staying with your "babydaddy". If he's a jerk and/or violent, or just a loser who can't pay the bills, then dump him and move on. Just being there for a child isn't enough.
Pick the one that's going to be able to help you provide a good life for the child, not which one you think is cutest or would like to bang the most...

If your baby's daddy is good to you and the child and there is love there then you should stay with him. Usually, from experience, if you are just interested in a man, it's not worth messing up a good thing and once you make a choice it will stick with you for the rest of your life. I wish you the best of luck.

you need to pay attention to the welfare of your baby and not be seeking anything but being the best and most devoted mother you can, learning all you can about child development, spending 15 minutes of every hour of your baby's day interacting with him/her in a positive, child-directed way. If you are actually not raising your baby, but have made a baby you can't afford to raise and so must have her raised desparately missing you all day, then this is all the more reason that all your time off is spent actually raising this baby, giving all the attention and love she needs.
never hit her, strive never to yell at her, give her mommy's milk for at least two years, read to her constantly, play with her, teach her the names for everything, speak to her in long, complicated sentences, don't talk down to her. give her the love and care she deserves and needs to grow to fulfill her potential.
you ower her big time and you are cheating her with your not giving her her dad and looking around for other men. parent. parent. parent.

Whats to say this guy you are interested in is interested. If you are with your babysdaddy than see what he would do for you. Chances are its hard for a man to accept a child that's someone Else's.

if you are interested at all in another man then that tells me that your baby's daddy and you are having problems. the question is what are those problems. are they fixable.. do you see yourself being with him forever? if not then you need to go ahead and move on... save yourself future heartache and regret... however, if you think you could be with him forever, then you need to concentrate on him and leave this other guy alone...

well you must not love you're babys daddy so remain friends with him for the baby and go for the other guy! That's what I did.
