They salary doesn't count, it doesn't matter how low paying it is. Just cause the pay is low, doesn't mean it's the worst job. It can be the highest paying job and still be the worst.

Anyways, you get my point. So what are the worst jobs in America?

watch the tv show dirty jobs.
for example- sewage inspector, bat biologist, pig farmer, crawfish fisherman (is that what they're called?), also i don't remember what they're called...but those people who have to clean up toilets that has exploded...omg...really gross. some lady has a toilet in her basement, and the safety valve didn't work, so the entire neighborhood's poop/urine/sewage exploded into her basement...there was poop/urine everywhere!! on the walls, covered everything on the floor. and these guys had to clean it up.

bat biologist doesn't sound so bad...but it's really gross too. this guy goes into a cave with a bazillion bats flying around above him...apparently they poop/urinate/drop placentas constantly all around and on him while he's inside to see how the bats r doing. because of all that excrement/placentas, the gound is really soft...like quick-sand. the host of the show got his boot stuck...he had to sit down on the poopy ground to get it out. plus there's these flesh-biting beetles on the ground nipping at him as he struggled with his boot. that sucks!

I worked at a gas station that had a high turnover rate. I would get calls to come in at least twice a week to cover for someone who failed to show up after the first day of training. At least 30 people quit, and I never received a raise or bonus for covering those gaps or even for reliability. It was a good thing that they sold beer. After I realized it was a "grind" there, and no extra compensation was going to be coming my way, a twelve pack per shift ended up "broken". Plus all the free Slim Jims and chips I could tolerate!
I'm not sure if it was the job that sucked, but the place in general...Nothing worse than being seen as a gas station flunkie in a college town.

Repetitive jobs that pose no challenge. Jobs that you risk life and limb for and your heart is not into. Picking up after other people that don't care about making more messes. Customer service jobs where you have to fake a smile every day to appease customers. Jobs that are degrading or exploitative. Jobs that take their toll on your body over the years and that won't pay for lng term care when you're old and broken. Jobs that make you come home and kick the cat every day. Jobs that drive you to drinking. Jobs that put you in a position where you have to lie or misrepresent facts just to make a buck. Jobs where you bust it out every day and you still can't afford to put shoes on your children's feet or food in their mouths. I don't believe that it is the job itself that is bad or good, it is how the employee perceives their role that is key. One man's pain is another's pleasure. One may be very much okay with a high stress, demanding job. Some people thrive on that. One may be okay with risking their life on a daily basis for the good of mankind or even just for the thrill of it. This is why I have declined to name specific jobs; but rather, I have described negative perceptions of employment. If you can't wake up and look at yourself in the mirror and know that you are doing some good in the world somehow by going to work, then you maybe need to reconsider what you are doing. Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life.

Number one would have to be a psychiatrist because listening to other people's problems must give you your own problems. Then a garbage man because you dint know what is in the garbage. And a urologist because that is just flat out gross. 4th a proofreader because you have to read every single word and make sure there are no mistakes at all. And the best job is Paris Hilton's, doing nothing and being reach from inheritance.
