Why is taking so long to return to the moon if they did it in the 60's?

That was staged in area 51!!!

Yes they did in 1969. I witnessed the live coverage on tv back then. Nowadays there does not seem to be much interest and I would assume much funding for such a massive undertaking. Currently we are funding the wars in Afganistan and Iraq. Inflation has gone up since the '60's. Back in the '60's we were more interested in making dreams come true.

Liberals will not allow NASA to have the money needed to go back. Moon shots are expensive, you know.

Saw the first landing on TV and Walter Cronkite express emotions so real that I highly doubt that it was fake. Been there done that answers second part of your question. Wonder if Either Mars landing that happened during Bushes administrations took Chimera shoot of space that would verify their position.

Some people think it was staged. The flag was moving, and that is very unexplainable. But come on, how could they keep such a thing like that secret? If more than one person knows, it's going to get out, trust me, I don't care how good of secret-keepers you are.

There is no reason to go there. The Americans simply wanted to beat the Russians and since they did there seems to be no reason to go back.

I was only 2, but I still have memories of watching it with my parents and grandparents-- it was that awesome.
