Honey you should be hanging out with someone other than family. I think you are very young and it is not wrong to be close as a cousin but not in the romance department. You are very young yet ,so why don't you wait to get involved with anyone right now. You should be concentrating on getting an education and then in a couple of years you can think about dating. Don't pick your cousin. there are so many nice young people out there that you can hang with for now. Cousins are nice as relatives go but not for romance,which you are too young to be thinking about at your age. Good luck to you . I hope you will enjoy your cousin as cousins should.

Honey it is not legal for you to marry your cousin, so this should tell you that it is not OK to date your cousin. I really think it would be very awkward for your family for the two of you to per sue a romantic relationship. Keep your relatives as family and find a Bo in your friends. The biggest reason we should not marry our relatives outside of the law, is that when we procreate (make a baby) that offspring will get it's DNA from both parents. When two people are related you are both pulling from the same gene pool. So if there are any recessive genes in your family your child will have a tremendous chance of being born with or developing conditions, birth defects, diseases etc. Ever heard the rumor that if a brother and sister have a baby that it will be retarded? Well this is the same reason.

yes, meeting your cousin for the 1st time should be a fun experience not an attraction. It's not okay to date your cousin. You should only have a friendly bond.

Why can't you just be Friends you are to young to think about commitments but !st cousins can 't marry because of the likely hood of genetic defeats.

I met my cousin from my Mothers side of the family which was her sisters gorwn child. I know it was wrong, but the sex was good.
