To get the average, add the numbers up. Then take that total and divide by the number of numbers.

So in your case you'd get
-100 -100 + 150 = -50

Take the -50 / 3 which = -16 2/3 or -16.7

So, -16.7 is your average (seems like a lot of people did it wrong)

Always take your time and do it right!

-100 - 100 is -200. Then -200 + 150 is 50. Then you take 50 and divide it by 3 and you get 16 2/3.

So, basically add all numbers and then divide the number by the amount of numbers given.

-100 and -100 make -200; so -200 +150 = -50. Now divide -50 by 3 and get -16 2/3.
