To get the average, add the numbers up. Then take that total and divide by the number of numbers.
So in your case you'd get
-100 -100 + 150 = -50
Take the -50 / 3 which = -16 2/3 or -16.7
So, -16.7 is your average (seems like a lot of people did it wrong)
