What eyeliner works best??

Question

i was wondering what eyeliner works the best..
doesn't leave smudges and you can actually put on easily.. because sometimes i use eyeliner that doesn't come on that well.. also i want it to be waterproof :-)

Lancome Artliner - awesome but expensive
Heard that MAC has great eyeliners

Well my favorite eyeliner may not even be available any more.

I like the cake eyeliner that I used to get from Mary Kay.

It was water-soluble and was much easier to put on than any other. Of course, that would not be waterproof.

But it looked really natural. And the nice thing was that it lasted for a really long time. When I heard it wasn't going to be made any more (because it lasted too long I suppose), I bought all I could find from every Mary Kay rep I could find. So, I still have some and love it, but don't wear it all the time, just for special occasions.

i find that pencil eyeliners go on the easiest and the cleanest. the brand that smudges the least would be chanel.

if you want to try something different, try the gel liners (try MAC) that come in a tiny jar. buy a flat lining brush, and just easily brush it on your lids. i wouldn't recommend putting it on your lower lashes though. this, ultimately, will last the longest, and smudge the least, but the difficulty level is moderate. some practice will do you some good. i wouldn't suggest trying this the night of a hot date!

I prefer a soft pencil liner. That way you can put it on thin, or a little thicker and use a Q-Tip to smudge it for that smokey look

Stila makes a great, smooth eyeliner, which is waterproof and mine is black...
But if you are tight on money, then use Rimmel.. it slides on perfectly and costs about 1.50 or so. I use the purple/raisin, but whatever matches your eyes is great!

I really like Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner, it goes on very smoothly!

pencil eyeliners are the ones the smudge the most.
if you dont want it to smugde use a liquid eyeliner.
i like dior show liner.

I like the liquid liner from Mary Kay. but, I am not sure if they have waterproof. I also,tried Avon's. it's good too.

I love using cream eyeliner by smashbox...it works really, really good...it goes on really easy and stays on until you take it off...I have tried pencil, liquid, etc...and this seems to be the easiest and best one so far...good luck!!

MAC and Lancome are good. Lancome has a liquid liner that is really easy to apply (costs about $25)...Macy's, Foley's and maybe Nordstrom carry them.
