What are some good dependable baby bouncer brands? How about baby swings?

I had a Summer Infant bouncer for my daughter and I loved it. I would have to admit that there are probably some better one's out there now though, so I may not have the best info for the bouncer. As for the swing, we had purchased the Ocean Wonders Aquarium Cradle Swing and I LOVED it. It would swing front to back, or with the push of a button, side to side; which my son preferred. There is also a similar one, the Natures Touch Baby Papasan Cradle swing that is nice as well. The reason we purchased the Ocean Wonders swings was that there seemed to be more things for the baby to look at as opposed to being aesthetically pleasing. Also, though you didn't ask about them, I would also have to vouch for the Jumperoo. The one's that hung on the doorways always petrified me and my son loved this one!
Hope this was some help and Good Luck!

Kick N Play Bouncer

We have a FisherPrice aquarium swing, and my son loves the little fish. We have a Johnny-Jump-Up bouncer (the kind that hang from the doorways) and he bounces all over the place in it. It's made his legs really strong.

And we have a bouncy seat, too, but he's outgrown it already. It's FisherPrice brand, too. He liked the vibrations that it made, and the little toy bar, but he was only big enough to play with the toys for about a month before he was too big to sit in it, since once they start trying to sit up, it's not really safe anymore.

I have the Fisher Price Kick n Play bouncer and the Fisher Price Aquarium travel swing. Love them both. The Kick n Play has already made it safely through my second child. My recommendation is to read the user reviews on Amazon.com

There is a Fisher Price swing that I swore by: Nature's Touch Baby Papsan Cradle Swing. It is incredible. My sons loved it and the music was nice to listen to unlike some swings which have really bad music.

The BEST product that I found was the Fisher Price Jumperoo. It is a free standing jumper, which means it does not require a doorway or other object to hang from. My son absolutely loved it! It sells in most retail stores. It runs for $64.99 at Target. Check around for sales or resale shops (like Once Upon a Child) sometimes resells them.

Graco , Jolly Jumper and Fisher Price.

Fisher Price is REALLY good on customer satisfaction. If you have problems with any other their products call them and they will help you to fix it or they will replace it for you.
They replaced a toy that I bought for my daughter with no problem.
A light had burnned out on it and I called to see about buying a replacement bulb, they said that the toy had no replacable parts and sent me another one free.

stick with brands you know and trust. if you go on amazon.com, to the baby store, you can search for products and read reviews. a tip for a swing, i got one that plugs in and has batteries, love it! other than that, keep it simple and don't spend a fortune!
