Was there a show on during the late 70's or early 80's called Family. Do you remember it? The mom had soft redish permed hair and there was a kind of ugly daughter with black hair, brown eyes and a flat nose. She had a strange voice too. I remember them showing the mom as she was looking out through a screen door. Like that was always at the beginning of the show. Please tell me what you know. Thanks

Thanks. I'm not crazy. I've found out now, the ugly girl wasn't Krisy McNicol is was someone named Quinn ......she played Annie. I've always thought about this show and wondered if anyone would remember it. Does anyone remember the theme song?

it had meredith baxter birney in it. the younger girl was kristie mcnichol.

I remember that show. I think the lady who played the mom was named Sada Thompson.
