LOL! You make it sound like it was eons ago. We had some slang like "bitchen", "far-out", "outta sight" and groovy, cool and neato to describe things that were great. The guys did a lot of "hey man" to each other. People were into peace because the Vietnam War was going on and wore peace signs on t-shirts, jewlery, etc. Tie-dyed t-shirts were also popular and are making a comeback. Skirts were mini, and maxi, hair was long (both male and females!) usually parted down the middle, very much the Cher look. And afros for African Americans were huge. I was in high school from 70-74, it was a great time to be a teenager! The best music too.

No, that is not completed. Technically the Lakers, the Cavaliers and the Celtics ought to all win 70 video games, regardless of the shown fact that it's not going to ensue. The Celtics do play challenging each game and in case you will win 70 video games, basically ask the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls. As a Wizards Season Ticketholder, i might ought to assert the Celtics are the suitable team i've got considered play in person this 12 months. They regarded greater suitable than the Lakers, Rockets, path Blazers, Spurs and Cavaliers. i've got not considered the Orlando Magic or the Atlanta Hawks yet, those are 2 greater stable communities.

People in the 70s used slightly different slang.. they called people
"Man".. Hey man. have you got a cigarette
FarmOUT.. which later transverted to Far out
"Cool" was used alot.
People seemed more open and sharing of each other.
Smoking pot was sort of new, and buying a joint, a nickle bag or dime bag.. was an affordable way to spend $1.00, $5.00 or $10.00
It was the age of Aquarius, and brotherly love became popular.
People attempted to be "hip" and used "Groovy".
We were coming out of the sixties and didnt swear as much as people do now. We used other expressions.
Good luck and keep cool!

Oh dear. Now I have to remember back to when I was in grade, middle and high school. Actually, I can't remember us speaking out of the ordinary. Of course there were no references to computers unless one was talking about Science Fiction, but we had a good time, maaan....cool....I think fer-shr came in the eighties though. Don't quote me though. Otters have a good grasp of English but sometimes a rather short memory.

I was really young in the 70's and I can see no difference to then and now.
Everyone had a similar lifestyle, all that was lacking was mobile phones, the internet and terrorism.
