Money order transactions mimic cash. If they were blank, you'd have a hard time recouping the loss. Of course, if you took the serial numbers down, you might have a lead.

There isn't much you can do, unfortunately. That's why money orders are never a good idea, they are the same as cash and there's no way to prove that it was yours to begin with.

They get your money from your money order. A money order is as good as losing cash.

you would have to call the 1-800 number on the paper tab on all money order to call the company to declare the money order and in some cases they will refund the money and call the police.

there should be a number on the order and stub.. take it to the police. or bank !!! NOW !!!!! you should have done it before typing your question on here. it will show up on the screen at the bank. STOLEN !!! and the camera's at the bank will nab the guy.

you hopefully have a receipt. Go back to where you purchased it. Tell them, it will probably take a long time to get the money.
