I guess they are all just expressing their freedom of speech. But come on people, have a little respect for where you come from.

respect for where i come from? if you ever found out that the Devil created you, not God, would you warship the Devil? if your mother tells you that the best you can do in this life is to die, would you go and kill yourself? if your country tells you that you are about to be killed, would you go and kill other people, even though you have no proof whatsoever if what was said is really true? this has nothing to do with yahoo answers, it has to do with common sense. did you know that yahoo gave out information to the chinese government about one of its users, which resulted in arresting and murder of this user by chinese government?

MOTHER'S PRIDE
(george michael)

Oh she knows
She takes his hand
And prays the child will understand
At the door they watch the men go by
In the clothes that daddy wore
Mother's pride
Baby Boy
His father's eyes
He's a soldier waiting for war
Time will come
He'll hold a gun
His father's son

And as he grows
He hears the band
Takes the step from boy to man
And at the shore she waves her son goodbye
Like the man she did before

Mother's pride
Just a boy
His country's eyes
He's a soldier waving at the shore
And in her heart the time has come
To lose a son

And all the husbands, all the sons, all the lovers gone
They make no difference
No difference in the end
Still hear the women say: "Your daddy died a hero
In the name of God and man."

Mother's pride
Crazy boy
His lifeless eyes
He's a soldier now forever more
He'll hold a gun till kingdom come

ponder that!

Because people these days do not know how lucky they are to live in a country like the U.S. and are able to live such a comfortable life. Also they speak up about events, decisions politicians make, example the war in iraq. before they know all the politics and facts behind these matters so they begin to think the U.S. is an evil superpower who only wants to bring death and destruction to other countries which is not close to true. they do not realize they could have been born into a poor family in a third world country instead of a middle class family in america.

We insult our leadership which is called America because it is in control of the American government.- Everybody is referring to the leadership and that is how the language works. You must understand the distinction and then realize that dissent is important in a free society. It is the ultimate form of respect for the values that this country was founded on.

i agree with you, even if we dont fully agree with our government, we should still be proud of the good and great and not allow a few bad apples ruin the bigger whole.

Because they are stupid, can't you tell? Check their spelling in all the I hate America questions, they're uneducated people, which explains why they don't understand, the only reason they can complain about their country so freely is because they are Americans. My husband fights for their rights to complain about how horrible America is and he doesn't get to defend himself to them. How sad and unappreciative.

I *DO* love and respect the country I live in.

As an American citizen, it is within my province to determine whether an administration has failed in its duties.

As such, I exercise that right.
