Under the right circumstances and chemistry; I believe one could meet someone on Yahoo Answers. The online relationship could transfer into friendship or more. Life is full of possibilities. Nothing is really impossible when LOVE, is involved.

Overall,no. I think this is a form of indirect communication that seem so suit us who sometimes ask personal type questions. We appreciated the thought that goes into answers but the anonymity of it all also gives us some privacy. Still, there are some pretty nice gals and guys here and in a very real way, I feel that I am getting to know them (at least their online personalities). There is a Bearable and a Randy (I think) and several gals who really are excellent writers. It might be interesting to meet them but then again, I don't know them and they don't know me. That's something we have to admit to in online communities.

Yes, why not? I've gotten to know a few friends online and eventually met them and found them to be really cool, friendly, nice and pretty decent. In fact, one of them is my bestfriend now. So if I do get to know them well via IM, emails, phone chats, etc. then I'd love to meet them personally.

Not for romance, and not most people, but there is one person on Yahoo Answers who's answers intrigue me. She always seems to have very logical yet witty responses and it would be interesting to meet her, strictly for conversation.

Yes. A stranger today could be a friend tomorrow. Everyone on here is no different than anyone else you walk past out in public. Never know, could have eyed a person in public that may be a regular on here.

We've met and included in our friendship group 6 people that we had only met by AIM -- so why not? Two of them from foreign countries who have now come here to college. Two of them local, and two of them from elsewhere in the US
I refuse to live in fear.
So yes, I would.
