Problem is, he knows it's a mess, I know it's a mess, EVERYONE knows it's a mess, but he's not doing anything about it. Hate to harm our friendship, but it really looks bad and it's right next to mine, which I may be listing for sale soon.

Contact your local code enforcement....they can pay him a visit and will give him a specific amount of time in which to get the mess cleaned up. If he doesn't he will be issued a citation.

Offer to help him clean up his yard. That should give him a hint ya think? Or is he like my neighbors in one ear and out the other? lol

do it yourself!!!! obviously it bothers you more than it bothers him LoL, maybe if he sees you cleaning up, hell get the hint and help out:P you can always be polite about it.. people HATE it when you're over-polite LoL
