Nurture it and give it all it needs.
I certainly wouldn't be so stupid as to cut it open to find the treasure.
The whole purpose of having such a gift is not to be greedy but to take the time to let it give what it has to give and not hurry things along.
Life is full of golden geese and we have to appreciate them and not spoil the moments that we can have in the future by callously trying to experience everything at once.

Pamper the heck out of that goose, I would put it in a fire proof room, and have whirlpool tub, for her comfort. I would collect my eggs everyday, and share them with the poor, and homeless. I would breed her, so we would have others, to keep the dynasty going, and we all lived happily ever after......The Beginning.....:)
