You can get Johnson and Johnson's vapor bath...just fill an infant tub or whatever with bath water adding one cap full. Also the make a cream of the same thing, so do the bath, then rub plenty of the cream on his chest, or Vick's baby vapor cream. Plus if you have a humidifier, move it to his room. Pedia care makes these vapor-plug ins that come with extra cartridges and it has a built in night light, so they are great. That's about all I can think of.

I'm so sorry to hear! My daughters constantly get congested. Sit with youtr son in the the bathroom with the shower running hot water, breath in the steam for about 10-20 mins as long as u can handle sitting there. Congestion is usually worst at night, so do this before bed, or when he has trouble breathing. Also baby vicks rub is great. Vicks also makes a plug in that u can put int he nurshery, and I also recommened humpidfier, cool air. My daughter had to be hospitilized a couple times for this because it turned to croup, now I know the routine to avoid it! Hope this helps! God Bless.

Please call your baby's doctor. There will be a number for emergencies on the answering machine or at the answering service. Wait for the doctor to call back, describe your baby's symptoms and answer all the doctor's questions. He will either ask to see the baby the next day in his office, or he will recommend that you take the baby to the hospital. Chest congestion in a baby this young is not something that should be treated with a home remedy. It could be very dangerous.
God bless and keep you and your family.

Buy him the BABY VICS.. the color of its box is light blue stripes and the color of the bottle is dark blue and the cap is pink... it has a light smell recommend by my daughter's pedia whenever she gets sick. Rub on his chest and back. Its not really advisable sometimes to always drink medicines especially for your baby's age.
Hope that helps him..Its really hard to have babies being sick.
Also there is a Vic Vaporizer or when you get to buy the Baby's VICS, get a hot water put some VICS in it and live it in your son's room to make the room smell like VICS, that also helps us.
Take care...
