My 91' honda accord is leaking antifreeze. I put some liquid stuff with balls I bought from Checkers in it and now I don't see anything leaking onto the ground. But now, I smell the antifreeze and its really annoying. Anyone know probably is the problem. Leaky hose or hole in the radiator or both? Help anyone?

Sounds like a blown head gasket. Check your oil. If it's frothy and has things floating in ti, you're boned.

I really can't help laughing at these answers. So many and only 2 got it right. If you had coolant leaking on the ground and then put in stop leak and now smell it, then you have a bad heater core. It sounds like it was draining out the weep hole and now it's putting out steam and smelling up the car. Honda parts aren't too expensive. I would guess that the heater core will cost around 50 bucks. Not sure where it's located. Never changed one in a Honda before. Look on the passenger side under the glove box. Good luck.

If you smell the antifreeze it is your heater core or a hose leading to it (if your lucky) I changed one one time cause I had antifreeze on the passenger side carpet. Tore out the dash, dropped the steering wheel and removed the console only to find a clamp on the hose was loose GOOD LUCK

well if you smell the antifreeze inside of the car you have a bad heater core. and also take out the thermostat housing and remove the thermostat and install the thermostat housing and turn on the heater and remove the top radiator hose and install a water hose and flush the system with water until you see the water coming out of the hose clean. and then install every thing back you removed (back flush). check the hose for cracks or bad water pump.

well you fixed the leak but made your cooling system worse by putting in a stop leak. have the system pressure checked by a professional and they will tell you what you need to repair

It would have been good to find the leak before it was sealed.
