Leno. Letterman used to be better in the 80s, but since then hes lost his edge. Lettermans not naturally funny it was more his personality that pulled him through, but now that he has lost most of whatever it is that made him appealing, hes just kind of annoying. Leno was always funny, and unlike Letterman, can do punchline comedy. Letterman can only do stupid jokes.

Johnny Carson was brilliant because he could do both.

I enjoy both of their material. But since they come on about the same time, I watch Letterman.
