You can list any volunteer jobs you've had. You can also ask the volunteer organizations if they were serve as a reference for you.
Otherwise, write "none".

I have accepted teachers as professional references for those that have no previous employment. Many times those references are more accurate than anything I can get from another business. The dedication and effort a student puts into their schoolwork is very similar to the dedication and effort people put into their jobs.

i totally hate filling out applications... to make matters i worse don't like writing and of course my handwriting sucks....i have to concentrate on writing neatly and try to remember previous employers, names, phone numbers, addresses, job duties etc. and if you've been employed more than once that can be a bit much. i wish everything was done electronically and a resume is enough....it can be tedious and boring....applications should be optional or done away with!!!

under employment history list anything that you have done for money....
Did you deliver newspapers, babysit, mow lawns, fix bicycles, watch/walk pets.
Think outside the box. For professional references just list references... like those folks above you worked for to make money. Alternately, list school counselor or favorite teacher or neighbor... anyone who can attests to your good character.

if you haven't had any experiance, then it is fine to leave this blank
keep in mind though, that any volunteer work can be a professional reference, and in some cases, babysitters will be a good thing to put as reference - yard work too (i put all these things down when i was applying for my first job)
good luck!

Well, if you haven't worked before, you have no work history.Unless you babysat, or had a paper route, or mowed yards. Are there any adult friends of yours or your parents that may be professional people that would let you use them as a reference? Such as a lawyer, teacher, etc.

Just be honest and sincere. You might suggest that even though you have no employment history - you are a quick learner, pay close attention to detail, and accept responsibility,

No summer or part time jobs?
Then put None under history.
References: employers, teachers, clergy, friends in that order.
