ok i just needed to know some advice from anyone i would rather wait anyways my friend keeps on telling me i should get it even if im pregnant i thought it was also bad thanks everyone

First of all you are injecting ink into your system which could be toxic to a fetus especially a small one.
Infection from the tattoo site could not be good for baby or the introduction of medications need to help you recover.
Then there is the possibility that you may contract a disease from the needle most places as meticulous about sterilization, but all it take is someone one time to take a short cut.

The tattoo itself won't hurt the baby...the ink goes just under the skin and isn't absorbed into your blood stream. That's irrelevant anyway...your baby's blood is completely separate from yours. :)
That being said, the major risk to anyone getting a tattoo (pregnant or not) is unclean needles. If you go to a tattoo parlor that is questionable as to their sterilizing/cleaning practices, you could get hepatitis, AIDS, or any other disease that is spread by using unclean needles. This would obviously affect you AND your baby. It's best to wait. Tell your friend to hold her horses. :)

Yes, very much so. why would you even want to get a tatoo while you are pregnant. First of all the pain that you will experience from the tatoos, shouldn't be experienced while you are pregnant. Wait until after you have the baby to get one.

yes. i'd wait till after you have the baby. especially since while your pregnant a lot of the times your bloated and stuff the tattoo will ruin when you have the baby

No it's not, since the ink does not get inside of your system. But it's better to ensure that you are giving the baby everything it needs, if you do get it, make sure the artist is a licensed professional.

I heard of an incident where a woman was 8 months and after she got a tattoo her baby died.

I dont think its bad but it doesnt seem too good either. With every tat you risk getting HIV, hepatitis, etc.... Nothing wrong with waiting until the baby is born to get inked. Check with an OB/GYN for the best advice.

no it isn't bad getting a tattoo while your are pregnant, there is no harm to the baby, that is only going in your skin not your vains.so what are you having ? i have a little boy and i want to get his name on my leg.i wish you the best with your pregnacy,and take care of yourself.
