Now THIS is a question worth the thought ...
I think you have to compare the meaning of the the two analogies or expressions ( ...whatever they're called ) .
Love is blind.....meaning you don't see the faults in the person that you love o so dearly, and love at first sight is like the first time you look in their eyes ( remember the eyes are the window to the soul or whatever) ..so you look in their eyes and you see who they are and know that you can never find such another soul on the face of the earth that you would love as much .
I don't know..I never thought about it .

Thought they are used separately and for different scenarios. It could be 'love at first sight' when I meet someone. People might not find us compatible, a mis-match; that's when they will say 'love is blind'. Make sense?
