Hezbollah managed to continue its action against Israel without let-up no matter how the Israeli aggressors bombed and shelled the land. There is no doubt Hezbollah gave the Israelis a run for their money. They are still there and probably stronger now than before. Israel's war against the Lebanese people will not win them any friends and will only aggravate the hatred against them. The next time the lsraelis will get it even worse, and I for one think it is about time.

I heard Bush give a speech the other day, making the comments that there was great progress in destroying the fascis regime in Hezbollah that is Iran and Syria involvement. So, I think the president thinks Israel or the US won, not Hezbollah.

As an independent observer I don't really think so. It seems the fact that they weren't wiped out seems to them and their supporters to count as a victory.

Statistically though they came off very badly. They suffered over ten times more casualties than Isreal and achieved no objective other than to survive. Isreal's action on the other hand has caused the United Nations forces to become involved in Southern Lebanon which will only increase their own security. As well as this they have many Hezbollah prisoners they can now exchange for their two Isrealis. They've also exposed how high profile Iran is in actively supporting and equipping what many consider "terrorist" organisations. As a result I think we are about to see a lot of more hostile international (diplomatic) pressure on Iran.

Looks to me like Isreal is the clear winner.

YES Hezbollah won by having the time to re-man it's territory and rearm with ammo and missiles, it won by having time and maps to remove Israeli mines without giving up anything in return, not land, not power not anything. Hezbollah will again violate truce and attack and Israel will be back to square on. Let's hope this time Israel is not so stupid and agrees to a non-enforceable treaty

I don't know, but I'd pick them to win just by the name. If it were announced ; TONIGHT ; HEZBOLLAH VS. THE JEWS!!! I'd put my money on Hezbollah. I don't even know what it means, but it sounds way tougher than "The Jews", doncha think?

Are we talking about the war(s) over the middle east? Well, I would suggest that given this has been going on for thousands of years that no one has or will win and the lastest skirmish means nothing in the aggregate.

Israel pounded innocent civilian spots from the air due to their cowardly soldiers being shitted over on the ground.

After one month of fighting and avoidable bloodshed, Hezbollah is still strong and standing firm in Lebanon.

Now you tell me who won?
